After two-and-a-half years of calm, the citizens of Cooke County, North Carolina are in a state of panic when ten-year-old boys, named after Jesus' disciples, are turning up dead all over the county...again.
Ushering in the "Summer of Blood 2" the "Cooke County Killer", architect of the heinous "Rosary Bead Murders", has resurfaced to finish what he started two decades prior. But when the ghost of one of his victims enlists the help of Cooke County detective Lieutenant Jimmy Lee Kole to bring the Cooke County Killer to justice, Jimmy Lee and his partner Samantha get more than they bargain for.
